Clay W. Hamlin, III

Clay Hamlin is President of the Hamlin Family Foundation and a co-founder and CEO of CITRS. Clay serves on the Board of Directors for Character.org in Washington, DC. He is a founder, former Vice Chairman and CEO of Corporate Office Properties Trust, a publicly traded real estate company. He is also a Managing Partner of The Shidler Group, a private commercial real estate company and CEO of LBCW, LP, his family investment entity. He is a CPA and was formerly an attorney at Pepper, Hamilton & Scheetz and Saul, Ewing. Clay also served as a Lieutenant J.G. on the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier, USS Wasp, in the late 1960′s.

Clay was born and raised in Buffalo, NY and attended the Nichols School. He received his undergraduate degree, earning the Class of 1915 Award for the Ideal Scholar/Athlete, and his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a JD from Temple University. He is a member of the University of Pennsylvania Tennis Hall of Fame and is Vice Chairman of Penn’s Athletics Board of Overseers.
